Backstage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, Billboard spoke to Nicki Minaj about the success of her single “Super Bass“. Nicki also revealed that her alter ego, Roman Zolanski, would have a key role on her forthcoming sophomore album.

“I want to publicly say again that Taylor Swift really launched that single into another stratosphere, with just tweeting about it and rapping it and stuff,” says Minaj of “Super Bass,” currently at No. 9 on the Hot 100. “I performed it with Taylor, and she’s so cute, and she’s like a big bowl of ice cream!”

“All I can say is that Roman will definitely be a humongous part of the follow-up to ‘Pink Friday,'” says Minaj in her trademark Roman accent. “All I can say is that I’m working on it, and the fans are gonna get their life and then some.”

Lil Chuckee will celebrate his 16th birthday this upcoming weekend in style with a celebrity basketball game to benefit Chuckee‘s “Stop The Bullying” tour. The basketball game is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 2nd, which is the day after the BET Hip Hop Awards.

Lil Wayne and the YMCMB crew will also host the official “Lil Chuckee Swagga *16* Birthday Bash” on October 1st. Weezy, Mack Maine, Birdman, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Twist, Gudda Gudda, Jae Millz, Short Dawg, Shanell, T-Streets, Cortez Bryant, Sean Garrett, Waka Flocka Flame, Detail, Tity Boi, Mannie Fresh, DJ Khaled, Jazze Pha, Yo Gotti and plenty more artists will be attending the party!

Last night, DJ Clue premiered Tyga‘s new single on Power 105 called “Still Got It” sampling his Young Money label-mate, Drake. T-Raw‘s Careless World album will be released on November 19th.
