Drake The Motto Single Reaches No 1 On R&B Hip Hop Songs Chart - Ties With Jay-Z

According to Billboard, Drake‘s “The Motto” single featuring Lil Wayne has climbed from #3 to #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. This makes it Drizzy‘s ninth No. 1 meaning he is now tied with Jay-Z for the most No. 1s. The funny thing as well is that “The Motto” knocked his other single “Make Me Proud” featuring Nicki Minaj off the #1 spot, which is now #2 on the chart. The last artist to do this was Alicia Keys back in 2008 with “Like You’ll Never See Me Again” succeeding her “No One” single.
