Lil Twist Discusses How His “Twerk” Song With Miley Cyrus & Justin Bieber Came Together

MTV recently sat down with Lil Twist in Los Angeles to discuss how his “Twerk” single featuring Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber came about. Twizzy says that the song originally belonged to Bieber and he was going to use it for his next project.

“When it started off, it was Justin’s record. He was doing ‘Twerk’ for ‘Journals’ with him and Miley and then once me and him had a conversation over dinner it was like, ‘Yo bro, I think this should be your single and we should go with it’.”
