Yo, he doesn’t mention short dawg… does that mean the young Elvis Freshly isn’t in ym anymore? Same for T-streets… anyone have answers?

    • Tunechi F Says:

Well Mack is pretty much wrong when he says everyone from YM is on the album. It depends on “Hittin Like” is on the album or not. It’s not on the iTunes pre-order for some reason but it was the original tracklist when it was released so it could be on the actual album. That would put Chanel West Coast on there. But then even still W3 The Future isn’t on it so Mack is wrong. But if Chuckee or Short aren’t in YM anymore, are you even surprised? Chuck was dissing them and shit and Short does his own thing. and T-Streets doesn’t even rap really so he wouldn’t really have to be officially signed to the label.

Yeah you’re right, not all YM artists are on the album. Chanel West Coast, Reginae Carter, Torion and We The Future are not on it. I think Austin Mahone is just part of Cash Money

I remember something about him being more of a friend than an artist. He did one mixtape and then kinda stopped making music because he wasn’t that into it. I remember reading/hearing somewhere T-Streets is one of Waynes closest friends.

Man I hope Wayne sticks to his guns and doesn’t let Tyga on C5. That’s not a good look. I like him but he ain’t a C5 feature. When it comes to features for this classic album I’m hoping for: Kanye, Drake, The Weeknd, Big Sean, Andre 3000, or Ricky Rozay……and my boy Euro.

  15. YoungJT Says:

To me Wayne needs to enlist his best collaborators based on history, this being said: Juelz Santana, Eminem, TI, Kanye West, Gudda Gudda, Meek Mill, Nicki, Drake, Chris Brown, Lloyd, Kendrick Lamar, JCole, Wale, hell even if he can get Snoop Lion for the sake of old school! Nevertheless, “Moment” being a leftover song confirms that we can kick our feet back knowing this album is straight fire.

    • MrNinoBrown Says:

Yeah I think Eminem Drake and Kendrick will be definitely good for a CV album. I think those names will make people the need to cop this and listen to these collaborations. The others like Wale Meek or even Juelz I don’t they good for CV. And I don’t really like Kanye but just for the buzz it will be fxckin good. But you what could be the best thing to make a fxckin buzz on this album???? A Lil Wayne feat Kanye West and Jay z. It will be amazing for the buzz

      Reply

      • MrNinoBrown Says:

Or even just Lil wayne Feat Jay z… It will be amazing to see it on the track list.

I think tyga is good but i see the carter 5 as a classic and tyga dont make classic beside careless world and his old tapes, i think tyga should be happy to be on the album. for me i think its a dream to be be on that album series

  23. Best Says:

Lil Chuckee is still a young money artist, I think only Short Dawg and T-Streets are not young money artists anymore. Wayne and Mack Maine don’t give all the artists time to record songs together for the album, like it was on We Are Young Money album. They just put on the songs they already have on the album, only Euro records new songs on the album! I think they just make the album for Euro, so that people know him better and know that he is a young money artist. Please guys leave Lil Chuckee alone, that nigga is still part of young money. Anyway I’m sad he is ont on the album 🙁

  24. Baal Says:

@justinman …Didn’t get the chance…? Theres levels to this shit. You think Weezy was suppose to empower Chuckee when Chuckee just tryna make it about a spot and replacing all that weezy worked for? Foh. Chuckee actin senile.

    Its BMJR, not BMJRJR

Short Dawg got his own record label fuck bois. Why would a nigga who was signed to Russel Simmons, Jermaine Dupri and wrote for Bow wow, Timbaland and Lord knows who else, wait around for these candy corn ass rappers to push his music. That nigga Short Been spitting for years now you dummys. Have you heard this dude sick ass lyrics on these mistakes and y’all talking bout tyga, drake, and Nicki gtfo smh lmfao! As for Chuckee, it’s obvious he’s jocking Wayne style, so why would a record label want to pay for two Waynes lol. You lame ass “rap fans” kill me…

Let Tyga leave. We goin 2 sign him here in Africa, cuz u thnk he aint dope. Tyga is nt a hip hop sumby bt he z a musician, he z creative n real. We no longer give a fuck abt popularity bt we nw listen 2 gud music. We heared enuf of Weezy tellin us abt his money, 2 u Mr Weezy I’m nt goin 2 buy ur C5 if it duzn’t have Tyga , Drake, J Cole , Los and Mgk/Macklemore on it. Dos kids are so much betta dan u. Respect my view cuz I’m de customer and stop fucking with us. Did u know Music originated in Africa?

  30. Steven Says:

I have always believed alot of people know real and good rappers in U.S not until now, rappers like drake and kanye are crap but only good for the market cause they make commercial music. Tyga makes real hip hop music.. Artist like eminem, Nore, maino, the LOX make good music.. This are the kind of artist that are suppose to be on the carter 5 but due to albums sales some of them can’t be there, instead wack artist like kanye west and drake that can’t really rap.. The truth is always bitter so keep saying nonsense after i have finish telling you guys the bitter true.. Take care..
