According to Billboard, Drizzy Drake and Pharrell have been confirmed to be a part of Apple‘s upcoming streaming service that will be in competition with Jay Z’s TIDAL, which of course Nicki Minaj supports.
It’s currently not clear how Drake will be involved with the streaming service, but it’s rumored that he will be a guest DJ on iTunes Radio. However, we will find out for sure next week on June 8th when Apple reveal this news at their Worldwide Developers Conference.
There was also a rumor that Drizzy was paid a total of $19 million for this deal, but it seems like that amount of money has been exaggerated a little bit. However, Apple did offer Drake more money than what Jay Z did because he dropped out of being a partner of TIDAL a few days before it launched!
