This fall, FOX are remaking The Rocky Horror Picture Show film, which was released back in 1975, and have cast Christina Milian to play the role of Magenta in it.
According to Variety, Tina Turn Up has joined the cast along with Adam Lambert, Annaleigh Ashford, Laverne Cox, Reeve Carney, Ryan McCartan, Staz Nair, and Victoria Justice.
Fox’s version of “Rocky Horror” is a reimagining of the cult classic, which has the longest-running release in film history. The story follows sweethearts Janet (Justice) and Brad (McCartan), who stumble upon Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s (Cox) bizarre abode. Along with the help of his faithful servants Riff Raff (Carney) and Magenta (Milian), Frank-N-Furter, a sexually ambiguous, flirtatious alien mad-scientist is holding an annual, Transylvanian science convention to showcase the birth of “Rocky Horror” (Nair), a fit, attractive man created solely to fulfill Frank’s desires.
Magenta, who was played by Patricia Quinn in the 1975 movie, is a maid in the castle that plots a plan with her brother Riff Raff to try and return back to their native planet of Transsexual!
