Back in 2014, Usher mentioned in an interview that he has an upcoming collaboration with Drake called “Slow Motion” all about relationships.
Everyone thought the song would appear on Usher‘s new album, Hard II Love, which dropped a few days ago on September 16th, but unfortunately it wasn’t on there.
In an interview with Complex, Usher revealed that he had to cut the Drizzy track from his album as it didn’t fit the project. However, he did also the say that “Slow Motion” will be released at some point in the future!
“I wanted to create a cohesive piece of work. This album has a very specific tone, but I would love to work with him [again]. I really respect his writing. You should, at some point though, get a song from Usher and Drake.”
