Jay Jones Hits Up The Studio With Producers Monsta Beatz During SXSW

Jay Jones recently hosted a studio session during South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas.

Joining Jones in the studio was production duo from New Orleans, Monsta Beatz, who are the producers behind Lil Wayne’s “Vizine” song.

“Feelin’ like Mack, feelin’ like Tune; It smell like money when I’m in the room”

You can check out some footage from the studio session in a clip after the jump below. The track they worked on could appear on Jay‘s upcoming Kill Mode 2 project!

Illy, formerly known as Juvenile Tony, has released a new collaboration with Flow called “Born Winner“.

Back in 2015, Illy also worked on a song with the Esho Hero‘s Young Money label-mate Cory Gunz titled “They Know I’m Real“.

Young Thug Announces His Next Single Will Feature Nicki Minaj

In a recent Instagram Live session (see below), Young Thug revealed Nicki Minaj will be featured on his upcoming single:

“I’ll log back on a little later. When I log on I’ll be previewing my next single featuring Nicki.”

More than likely, this will be the same collaboration that the Young Money Barbie spoke on in an interview with Dazed magazine last year:

“[I was] so blown away. I can’t wait for people to hear that collaboration.”

Thugger and Nicki have previously worked together on the “Danny Glover” remix, Rae Sremmurd’s “Throw Sum Mo” single, and Juicy J’s “Low” single!

Drake Fake Love Single Goes Quadruple Platinum

According to the RIAA, Drake‘s “Fake Love” single that was co-produced by Vinylz and Frank Dukes has now reached quadruple Platinum status.

This means that the track, which appears on Drizzy‘s More Life project, surpassed 4 million in streams and sales on March 8th after it was first released on October 29th, 2016.

Logic Calls Drake The Big Brother He Never Had

During a recent interview with Beats 1 radio, Logic chopped it up with Zane Lowe about plenty of things including his love for Drake.

“Drake doesn’t realize, in many ways, he was like the big brother I never had. And he set the example and paved the way for me to be myself. And so it’s like now, whether I’m at the Grammys or whether I’m here or there, or whatever, he’ll show me love or be like: “good job”, or “that shit’s dope”, or congratulate me on a release… you know people don’t realize what that’s like, what that means.”

Logic even added that he appreciates when someone who he looks up to, such as Drizzy, shows him love: “The love and respect of somebody that inspired you to that degree is just really insane”.
