Tyga & Chris Brown Are Planning A Fan Of A Fan Tour

“I think the people chose the record,” Tyga added. “We put the mixtape out, and we asked them: What record do you like the most? They was like, ‘Deuces.’ It was always coming up. It was growing on YouTube as well, like 100,000 views a day on YouTube. It was his idea to shoot the video. My homie Colin Tilly, he’s done all my videos. He’s done everything. All my mixtape stuff to the bigger stuff I’m doing now. He got it right. It’s what people wanna see, what they wanna hear.”

“I don’t think you wanna drown people too much,” Tyga said about making a full album with Brown. “We’ve been doing a lot of stuff, though. He’s on my album. We’re actually working on a tour right now. A Fan of Fan Tour at the end of the year. It’ll be dope.”

Tyga has an album coming out soon; it doesn’t have a release date yet. But his next mixtape, Well Done, will hit within the next couple of weeks. It’s going to be a Gangsta Grillz edition.

“I feel like I had to deal with DJ Drama. He reminded of Wayne, when he did Dedication with him,” Tyga explained. “Wayne was going in on every beat. All the mixtapes I’ve been dropping, they’re close to albums. They’re more songs. They have more content. This one, I wanted to rap on everybody’s beat and murder every beat that’s out. It’s fun to do that. It’s easy. I can knock that out real fast. I think Drama is dope when you wanna link up and murder beats like that.”

Some of the tracks Tyga is pilfering are Soulja Boy’s “Pretty Boy Swag” and Nicki Minaj’s “Your Love.” – MTV

Is Drake Dropping A New Album This Year?

We all know about Drake’s popularity. His debut, Thank Me Later, came out this past spring, and believe it or not, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Drizzy could come right back with another album just in time for Christmas.

“Drake’s crazy,” Young Money president Mack Maine told MTV News last week. “He’s doing a mixtape right now. He called me one night, like 2 in the morning. He has the intro done for the new album. We was discussing dates where he should come back. That’ll be soon. And this mixtape, he’s gonna put that out quick. His formula is crazy. He works fast. I can’t give the secret away to the formula. He’s a musical genius. The way he and producer 40 put things together is crazy.”

When we asked Mack if Drake was putting out another LP before next summer, he simply said, “Real possible! What we discussed, definitely, what me and him discussed.”

“It makes sense,” Mack said. “Like DMX and those guys at Def Jam. They dropped two in one year. I think 50 Cent did two in one year. If it wasn’t a year, it was right around that time. Drake’s hot like that. Why not? Give them what they want.”

When asked if Drizzy would have an album in the marketplace in time for it to be a stocking stuffer around the holidays, Mack Mizzle smiled and advised us to “expect the unexpected.” – MTV

Drake’s Fifth Single From Thank Me Later Will Be “Show Me A Good Time”

Although a critically-acclaimed debut effort, survey said no. But Young Money CEO, Cortez Bryant—greatly responsible for molding Lil Wayne into a mega rapper-eating star— knows exactly what his winning artist was missing to reach Weezy numbers. “The first week was great but Drake still need that big smash pop hit like we had with Wayne’s ‘Lollipop.’” he says. “Wayne got his million because he had that urban side and he crossed over to that pop demographic. I believe Drake would’ve got those million sales if we would’ve had that pop record.”

So if “Over” was an appetite soother, “Find Your Love” an emo stunna and “Miss Me” a hip-hop head’s favorite, where does that leave Drake’s 4th upcoming single “Fancy?” ‘I don’t think ‘Fancy’ is that pop record either,” reveals Cortez. “It’ll go so far, but when we drop ‘Show Me A Good Time’ in September— that has the potential to be that big record.”

As far as Drake’s success beyond music for, Cortez hopes his Toronoto front runner can multiply his triumphs through film opps. “We wanna start entertaining these movie offers. Drake is looking to come out with the role no one else expects. He’s not gonna be the teen heartthrob or the college kid. He wants roles where he can show his acting skills.
