Drake Receives 8 Nominations At The 59th Annual Grammy Awards

The nominations for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards have been announced today and Drake has earned a total of 8 nods.

Drizzy has been nominated in the categories “Record Of The Year” for Rihanna’s “Work” single, “Album Of The Year” for Views, “Best R&B Song” for PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Come And See Me” single, “Best Rap Performance” for his “Pop Style” single, “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration” for his “Hotline Bling” single, “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” for Rihanna’s “Work” single, “Best Rap Album” for Views, and “Best Rap Song” for his “Hotline Bling” single.

Drake VIEWS Album Goes Quadruple Platinum

Four months after being certified triple Platinum, the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA) have confirmed Drake‘s VIEWS album has now gone quadruple Platinum!

According to the RIAA, VIEWS surpassed 4 million sales on December 1st after it was first released on May 6th (digitally it was April 29th).

Congratulations to the 6 God on this amazing accomplishment. I wonder if Drizzy‘s upcoming More Life project be as successful as VIEWS when he drops it sometime this month?

Nicki Minaj Hits Up The Gold Room Nightclub In Atlanta To Support Meek Mill Album Release Party

On Friday (December 2nd), Meek Mill hosted an album release party at Gold Room in Atlanta, Georgia until early morning on the Saturday.

Nicki Minaj was also in attendance at the nightclub to support her boyfriend Meek. She was wearing a Versace dress, Christian Dior glasses, and Gianvito Rossi shoes.

Drake Named Spotify Most Streamed Artist Of 2016

For the second year in a row, Drake has been named Spotify‘s “Most Streamed Artist” after having over 4.7 billion streams on the streaming service this year alone.

As well as being named the most-streamed artist of 2016, Drizzy has the “Most Streamed Song” this year with his “One Dance” single (also the most-streamed song in the streaming service’s history) and the “Most Streamed Album” with Views.
