On January 7th, Drake and the Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri made an appearance during a press conference at the Air Canada Centre to announce a new program titled “Welcome Toronto“.
The program, which is in partnership with with the Canadian NBA franchise, will play a big part in developing and helping young basketball players reach their potential in Toronto.
Drizzy and the Raptors have also donated $1 million to renovate and redecorate local basketball courts, as well as another $2 million to Canada Basketball.
You can watch a press conference to get more details on this program after the jump below! The Raptors will be hosting 6 “Welcome Toronto” games at home this season too, which will see them wear a black and gold OVO kit.

The Weeknd brought out Drake during his “Starboy: Legend Of The Fall Tour” at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada on Saturday (May 27th).
The OVOXO founders performed their “Crew Love” collaboration off Take Care live for everyone in attendance at the concert.

During the 4th annual “Drake Night” at the Toronto Raptors vs. Golden State Warriors NBA game in Canada on November 16th, Drizzy sat courtside wearing a crewneck with Doris Burke‘s face on it and the text “Woman Crush Everyday”.
The 6 God also chopped it up with Israel Gutierrez to send “a lot of love” to the ESPN and ABC reporter, as well as to invite her over to dinner “as long as she comes alone”.

The Toronto Raptors will hold the 4th annual “Drake Night” in the 6 God‘s honor on Wednesday, November 16th during their NBA game against the Golden State Warriors at the Air Canada Centre.
In previous years, “Drake Night” has included Drake announcing the starting lineup for the Raptors, as well as a “Hotline Bling” booth inside the arena.
If you didn’t already know, Drizzy is the global ambassador of Toronto Raptors! I wonder what this year’s “Drake Night” will include?

Drake brought out special guests Rihanna, Kanye West, French Montana, and DVSN during his 7th annual OVO Fest at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada on August 1st.
Throughout the show, Drizzy performed “Feel No Ways“, “One Dance“, “Hold On, We’re Going Home“, “Too Good” and “Work” with RiRi, “Pop Style” with Kanye, “No Shopping” and “All The Way Up” with French, and more songs live.
Rihanna also performed “Bitch Better Have My Money” and “Needed Me“, DVSN performed “Faithful“, and Yeezus performed “Father Stretch My Hands Part 1” live for the crowd. You can watch footage of everyone’s live performance in the clips after the jump below!

On the final night of his 7th annual OVO Fest at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada a few days ago (August 1st), Drake brought out Kanye West as a surprise guest.
While on stage before performing “Father Stretch My Hands Part 1“, Yeezy asked the crowd who is ready to hear a collaboration album from himself and the 6 God:
“Toronto, I got one question for you – is y’all ready for this album? I wasn’t talking about Pablo. I wasn’t talking about Views. I wanna ask y’all right now, are y’all ready for this album?”
If you recall back to February in 2015, Kanye also revealed that him and Drizzy began to record a joint album titled Wolves, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this project does come out sometime in the future.
