Drake Earns 5 Nominations At The 2017 JUNO Awards

The nominations for the 2017 JUNO Awards, which is an annual awards show to acknowledge Canadian music artists, were announced recently and Drake received a total of 5.

Drizzy was nominated in the categories “Artist Of The Year”, “Album Of The Year” for VIEWS, “Rap Recording” for VIEWS, “Single Of The Year” for “One Dance“, and “JUNO Fan Choice Award” (to vote for him, just use “#JFCDrake” on Twitter or Instagram).

This year’s JUNO Awards will take place over the weekend of April 1st and 2nd in Ottawa. You can check out which competition the 6 God will face in his categories after the jump below!

Drake Won 2 Awards At The 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards

Earlier this month, the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards aired on television and after being nominated 14 times in 11 categories, Drake took home 2 awards.

Drizzy was victorious in the “Album Of The Year” and “Best Hip-Hop Video” categories for his Views project and his “Hotline Bling” visual.

Drake Receives 14 & Nicki Minaj Earns 2 Nominations At The 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards

The nominations for the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards, which will be taped from the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta on September 17th, have been announced.

Young Money’s Drake received a total of 14 nods and Nicki Minaj earned a total of 2 nods at this year’s awards show that will premiere on television October 4th from 8PM EST.

Drizzy was nominated in the categories: “Best Hip-Hop Video” for “Hotline Bling“, “Lyricist Of The Year”, “Best Live Performer”, “Best Collabo, Duo or Group” for “For Free“, “Jumpman” and “One Dance“, “MVP Of The Year”, “Track Of The Year” for “Controlla” and “Hotline Bling“, “Album Of The Year” for Views, “Hustler Of The Year”, “Sweet 16 – Best Featured Verse” for “Work“, “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style)”, and “People’s Champ Award” for “For Free“.

Nicki picked up her nominations in the “Sweet 16 – Best Featured Verse” for “Down In The DM (Remix)” and “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style)” categories. You can see who they both will be up against to win their awards after the jump below!

We saw yesterday that the Young Money boss Lil Wayne earned 3 nominations at the 10th annual BET Hip-Hop Awards, and now we can see that Drake received 12 nominations and Nicki Minaj received 9 nominations at the awards show.

Drizzy picked up nominations in the categories: “Best Hip-Hop Video”, “Best Collabo, Duo Or Group”, “Best Live Performer”, “Lyricist Of The Year”, “MVP Of The Year”, “Album Of The Year”, “Hustler Of The Year”, “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style)”, “Sweet 16 – Best Featured Verse”, and “People’s Champ Award”.

The Barbie picked up nominations in the categories: “Best Hip-Hop Video”, “Best Collabo, Duo Or Group”, “Best Live Performer”, “Lyricist Of The Year”, “MVP Of The Year”, “Album Of The Year”, “Hustler Of The Year”, and “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style)”.

Drake & Nicki Minaj Both Win At The 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards

Last night, the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards aired on television and Young Money’s Drake and Nicki Minaj both won awards on the night even though they were not in attendance.

Drizzy, who was nominated a total of 8 times, won 3 awards. They were “Best Hip-Hop Video” for “Worst Behavior“, “Album Of The Year” for Nothing Was The Same, and “People’s Champ Award” for “Worst Behavior

The Young Money Barbie, who was nominated a total of 5 times at the awards show, won 1 award and that was in the “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style)” category.

Drake & Nicki Minaj Both Receive Nominations At The 2014 Soul Train Awards

Young Money’s Drake and Nicki Minaj have both been nominated at the 2014 Soul Train Awards, which will be taking place at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 7th.

Nicki picked up one nomination in the “Best Hip-Hop Song Of The Year” category for her “Pills N Potions” song. Drizzy picked up three nominations in the “Song Of The Year”, “Album Of The Year”, and “Best Hip-Hop Song Of The Year” categories.

You can view the list of nominations in the categories below. This year’s Soul Train Awards will be hosted by Wendy Williams and air on Centric, as well as BET at 8PM EST on November 30th.

The nominations for the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards have been announced! Young Money’s Drake was nominated a total of eight times, Nicki Minaj was nominated a total of five times, and Lil Wayne was nominated once.

Drizzy scored his nominations in the categories “Best Live Performer”, “Lyricist Of The Year”, “MVP Of The Year”, “Hustler Of The Year”, “Best Hip-Hop Video” for “Worst Behavior“, “Album Of The Year” for Nothing Was The Same, “Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse” for “Who Do You Love?“, and “People’s Champ Award” for “Worst Behavior“.

Nicki picked up her nominations in the categories “Lyricist Of The Year”, “MVP Of The Year”, “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style), “Best Hip-Hop Video” for “Pills N Potions“, and “People’s Champ Award” for “My Nigga (Remix)“, which Weezy was also nominated for too.

This year’s award show will be hosted by Snoop Dogg and taped on September 20th at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Georgia before premiering on October 14th at 8PM EST. Congratulations to Drizzy Drake, Minaj, and Tunechi on their nominations!
