Drake Reveals What Music He Was Listening To While Creating Scorpion

Not long after releasing Scorpion, Drake took to his Instagram Story to show screenshots of all the music that he had been listening to while making his new album.

Drizzy wrote: “Thank you to all the artists that inspired me on the studio drives” before going on to show screenshots of classic albums from 2Pac and Biggie, new projects from Lil Baby and Gunna, as well as more projects from a variety of genres.

Tyga Explains Why He Thinks Hotel California Was Not A Big Seller Like Careless World

Tyga chopped it up with XXL magazine recently to talk about his upcoming The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, which he says will be out in 2014 and will hold no more than 14 songs.

The YM rapper also spoke on his Last Kings venture, his “Wait For A Minute” single, Justin Bieber growing as an artist, sampling Eazy-E on Well Done 4, why he thinks Hotel California was not a big seller like how Careless World was, Egyptian culture, Cash Money Records, Birdman being a boss, if Game is signed to YMCMB or not, and more.

T-Raww also confirmed that there will be a music video for his “Good Day” song featuring Lil Wayne and Meek Mill, which he plans to shoot soon!

J. Cole & Drake Visit Best Buy In New York City To Purchase “Born Sinner” Albums [Video]

I posted a photo earlier today, now here is some footage of J. Cole and Drake heading to Best Buy in Union Square, New York City after the “Dollar And A Dream” show.

Both Cole and Drizzy bought all of the Born Sinner albums off the shelves, as well as French Montana’s Excuse My French album, a Sade album, and The Weeknd’s Trilogy album.

The receipt is nearly as tall as Drizzy Drake!

J. Cole Brings Out Drake During Show In New York, Both Visit Best Buy To Cop “Born Sinner”

J. Cole brought out Drake during his “Dollar And A Dream” tour at the Irving Plaza in New York City last night. You can watch some footage from the show in the clip above – just look how crazy the crowd goes when Drizzy walks out!

Drizzy Drake performed “In The Morning“, “Say You Will“, “No New Friends” acapella, and “Started From The Bottom“.

After the show, both J. Cole and Drake visited Best Buy to purchase plenty of Cole‘s Born Sinner albums. Check out a pic below!

Tyga and Chris Brown have postponed their Fan Of A Fan 2 mixtape, which was originally supposed to be released a few months back. Chris can be seen explaining why they have both postponed the project in the video above during a visit to “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” radio show earlier this week.

T-Raww‘s reasons for the Fan Of A Fan 2 push back are – he has just recently had a baby and he is currently working on his Hotel California album. Breezy‘s reasons for the push back are – he is focusing on his tour, working on his Carpe Diem album, and he doesn’t want to release any more free music for a while.
