Yesterday, the nominations for BET’s 2013 Hip-Hop Awards were announced on the 106 & Park show. Young Money’s Drake received 15 nominations and his label-mate Nicki Minaj received 1 nomination in the “Made-You-Look Award” category.
In my opinion, the nominations for this year suck. I mean I don’t know how Lil Wayne didn’t get nominated for “Best Live Performer” and just to show I am not being biased, how did Colin Tilley not get nominated for “Video Director Of The Year”?
Anyways, the 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards show will be taped on September 28th at the Atlanta Civic Center in Georgia and then premiere on October 15th at 8PM EST. Snoop Dogg will be hosting this year’s award show too.
