Nicki Minaj flipped out on Mariah Carey at the judging table during the American Idol auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina yesterday. According to TMZ, the disagreement started over a contestant’s performance. The producers of the TV show had to end the auditions early, so that the two judges could go home and cool down. Yesterday, we found out that Nicki Minaj would be a judge on American Idol with Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban. The first round of auditions took place yesterday in New York City, which will premiere on TV in January, 2013.

Ryan Seacrest has confirmed that Nicki Minaj will be a judge on American Idol with Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson. The new judges and Ryan all met up for a meeting last night, which is where the photo above was took.
Filming for the 2013 auditions will begin today in New York City!
