Drake Won 2 Awards At The 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards

Earlier this month, the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards aired on television and after being nominated 14 times in 11 categories, Drake took home 2 awards.

Drizzy was victorious in the “Album Of The Year” and “Best Hip-Hop Video” categories for his Views project and his “Hotline Bling” visual.

Zaytoven Announces Drake Will Be Featured On Future First Single Off Beast Mode 16 & When It Will Drop

While on the red carpet at the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards, Zaytoven chopped it up with Billboard to give a little update on his and Future‘s upcoming collaboration project – Beast Mode 16.

“We should be dropping a single within two weeks and it’s featuring Drake.”

So as you can see, Drake will be featured on the first single off Future and Zay‘s Beast Mode 16 project that will premiere in a couple of weeks.

The producer also took part in another interview recently, where he revealed the name of the collaboration will be “Used To Be“!

Drake Receives 14 & Nicki Minaj Earns 2 Nominations At The 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards

The nominations for the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards, which will be taped from the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta on September 17th, have been announced.

Young Money’s Drake received a total of 14 nods and Nicki Minaj earned a total of 2 nods at this year’s awards show that will premiere on television October 4th from 8PM EST.

Drizzy was nominated in the categories: “Best Hip-Hop Video” for “Hotline Bling“, “Lyricist Of The Year”, “Best Live Performer”, “Best Collabo, Duo or Group” for “For Free“, “Jumpman” and “One Dance“, “MVP Of The Year”, “Track Of The Year” for “Controlla” and “Hotline Bling“, “Album Of The Year” for Views, “Hustler Of The Year”, “Sweet 16 – Best Featured Verse” for “Work“, “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style)”, and “People’s Champ Award” for “For Free“.

Nicki picked up her nominations in the “Sweet 16 – Best Featured Verse” for “Down In The DM (Remix)” and “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style)” categories. You can see who they both will be up against to win their awards after the jump below!

Drake Wins 4 Awards At The 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards

Last night, the 10th annual BET Hip-Hop Awards aired on television after being taped a few days ago from the Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia.

Even though he was not in attendance, Drake won a total of 4 awards from his 12 nominations, which included: “MVP Of The Year”, “Best Collabo, Duo or Group” for “Blessings“, “People’s Champ Award” for “Blessings“, and “Sweet 16 – Best Featured Verse” for his “My Way (Remix)” verse.

Other Young Money music artists that also had nominations at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards show was Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj. However, they didn’t win any awards or attend the show either!

We saw yesterday that the Young Money boss Lil Wayne earned 3 nominations at the 10th annual BET Hip-Hop Awards, and now we can see that Drake received 12 nominations and Nicki Minaj received 9 nominations at the awards show.

Drizzy picked up nominations in the categories: “Best Hip-Hop Video”, “Best Collabo, Duo Or Group”, “Best Live Performer”, “Lyricist Of The Year”, “MVP Of The Year”, “Album Of The Year”, “Hustler Of The Year”, “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style)”, “Sweet 16 – Best Featured Verse”, and “People’s Champ Award”.

The Barbie picked up nominations in the categories: “Best Hip-Hop Video”, “Best Collabo, Duo Or Group”, “Best Live Performer”, “Lyricist Of The Year”, “MVP Of The Year”, “Album Of The Year”, “Hustler Of The Year”, and “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style)”.

Drake & Nicki Minaj Both Win At The 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards

Last night, the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards aired on television and Young Money’s Drake and Nicki Minaj both won awards on the night even though they were not in attendance.

Drizzy, who was nominated a total of 8 times, won 3 awards. They were “Best Hip-Hop Video” for “Worst Behavior“, “Album Of The Year” for Nothing Was The Same, and “People’s Champ Award” for “Worst Behavior

The Young Money Barbie, who was nominated a total of 5 times at the awards show, won 1 award and that was in the “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style)” category.

Rich Homie Quan Says He Has Been Working A Lot With Drake

While on the red carpet at the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta on September 20th, MTV caught up with Rich Homie Quan for an interview, which you can check out below.

Quan discussed “working a lot” with Drake, said they have 3 to 4 songs together, confirmed that Drizzy will be featured on his debut studio album dropping in early 2015, mentioned Drizzy will use a couple of the tracks for his own projects, and more.
