Back in February, I made a post about Drake and Jay-Z being tied on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for the most number ones with each of them having nine. Well Drizzy has now surpassed Jay after his collaboration with 2 Chainz, “No Lie“, recently went gold and also brought his total to ten number ones. This is a big accomplishment for Drake, so a big congratulations goes to him!

Back in February this year, we found out Tyga‘s “Rack City” single went platinum, now Ty can add another plaque to his collection. According to HHNM, another single off his Careless World: Rise Of The Last Kings album, “Faded“, featuring Lil Wayne has just sold over 1 million digital copies. This track also reached #33 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Congrats T-Raw and Tune

On Saturday, July 14th, Lil Twist chatted with Billboard‘s The Juice backstage at the “#1 Girl” tour in New York City at the Beacon Theatre.

They spoke about Twizzy touring with Mindless Behavior, participating in charity work, the status of his forthcoming Don’t Get It Twisted album, who is featured on the album, a song he has with label-mate Drake called “Yes You Are“, witnessing Lil Wayne’s success, what we can expect from him in the future, and more.

Drake will begin his “Club Paradise” summer tour with J. Cole, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, Waka Flocka Flame and French Montana on May 7th. He recently spoke with MTV about having music to perform at each show with all of the artists on the tour with him. This means that it is only 2 Chainz and Meek Mill who we have not heard on a track with Drizzy.

We can be looking forward to hearing a Meek Mill and Drake collabo dropping on Meek’s Dreamchasers 2 mixtape soon and on May 1st, 2 Chainz will be releasing his single called “No Lie” featuring Drizzy.

Drizzy Drake also told Billboard that he has already started recording his third album that he says will be different than Take Care, which he called a “down” album. You can read what Drake said about his forthcoming third album below:

Nicki Minaj‘s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded album, which was released on April 3rd, has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album sold 253,000 copies in its first week of release in the USA alone and 346,000 copies worldwide. Congrats to the YM Barbie!
