Nicki Minaj has gone on social media to praise her former manager Sickamore, who is now the Vice President of A&R and Creative Director at Epic Records, for admitting in a recent interview that he made some mistakes during the early stages of Nicki‘s career.
“It takes heart to admit when your wrong. You can always work with me Sickamore. Only good memories. @Sickamore thank you”
This all came after Sickamore did an interview with RapRadar and mentioned that Minaj is one of the smartest business people he has ever met, he thought he was ready to manage her but he wasn’t, he learned a lot from their time together, and reaching out to her to ask if she will do a verse on YG’s “My Nigga” remix.
Sickamore also said the Young Money Barbie always knew that she would be as big as what she is today and she didn’t get this big by accident, as well as told a story of what happened between them back in the early days when Nicki had a cover shoot with Vibe magazine.

“We rep Nick, that’s our little sister, so we support everything she do, so we definitely watch. It ain’t no secret. I don’t consider it beef, they both getting paid to do a job and they’re just doing their job. Ain’t nobody get hurt, so it ain’t no big deal.”
“I saw the whole play, been a part of it so I think it’s amazing. We ain’t never had a female in the business to accomplish what she’s accomplishing, period. I never saw a woman in this business, especially in my time of doing this, work as hard as her.”
