Drake Earns 13 Nominations At The 2016 AMAs & Breaks Michael Jackson 32 Year Old Record

The nominees for the 2016 American Music Awards, which will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 20th, have been announced.

Drake picked up a total of 13 nominations in the categories “Artist Of The Year”, “Collaboration Of The Year”, “Video Of The Year”, “Favorite Male Artist”, “Favorite Album”, and “Favorite Song”.

Drake Receives 5 Nominations At The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards

The nominations for the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards were announced earlier this week and Drake was nominated a total of five times (six times if you count Jeremy MacFarlane’s nod in the “Best Art Direction” category for “Hotline Bling“).

Drizzy was nominated in the categories “Best Female Video” for Rihanna’s “Work“, “Best Male Video” for “Hotline Bling“, “Best Collaboration” for Rihanna’s “Work“, “Best Hip-Hop Video” for “Hotline Bling“, and the big one “Video Of The Year” for “Hotline Bling“.

This year’s MTV VMAs will air live from the Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday, August 28th from 9PM. You can see who the 6 God will be in competition with to win his awards below. Be sure to vote for Drizzy Drake here!

The 2016 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards took place in Toronto, Canada on Sunday (June 19th) and even though Drake was not in attendance, the 6 God did win four out of the six nominations he had at the awards show.

Drizzy won his awards in the categories: “Video Of The Year” for “Hotline Bling“, “Best Hip-Hop Video” for “Hotline Bling“, “Best MuchFACT Video” for “My Love” with Majid Jordan, and “Most Buzzworthy Canadian” for “Hotline Bling“.

Drake Receives 6 Nominations At The 2016 Much Music Video Awards

The nominations for the 2016 Much Music Video Awards were announced a couple of days ago (May 18th) and Drake leads with a total of 6 nods.

Drizzy was nominated in the categories: “Video Of The Year” for “Hotline Bling“, “Best Hip-Hop Video” for “Hotline Bling“, “Most Buzzworthy Canadian” for “Hotline Bling“, “Best MuchFACT Video” for “My Love“, “Fan Fave Video” for “Hotline Bling“, and “Fan Fave Artist Or Group”.

This year’s Much Music Video Awards, which will be hosted by Gigi Hadid, will broadcast live on Canada’s Much and CTV channels next month on June 19th. You will also be able to stream the awards show on Much.com!

Drake Receives 11 & Nicki Minaj Earns 1 Nomination At The 2016 Billboard Music Awards

Yesterday, the finalists for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards were announced and Young Money’s Drake and Nicki Minaj both picked up nominations. This year’s awards show will be hosted by Ludacris and Ciara at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 22nd.

Drizzy earned 11 nominations in the categories: “Top Artist”, “Top Male Artist”, “Top Billboard 200 Artist”, “Top Hot 100 Artist”, “Top Song Sales Artist”, “Top Streaming Songs Artist”, “Top Rap Artist”, “Top Rap Album”, “Top Streaming Song”, and “Top Rap Song”.

The Barbie picked up 1 nomination in the “Top Dance/Electronic Song” category for David Guetta’s “Hey Mama” single. If you are wondering how Billboard choose their finalists, it is explained below. Young Money’s Drake and Nicki Minaj have both been nominated at Nickelodeon’s 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards, which will air live from The Forum in Inglewood, California on March 12th at 8:00PM on Nickelodeon.

Drizzy was nominated in the categories “Favorite Male Singer” and “Favorite Song Of The Year” for “Hotline Bling“. Nicki received her nomination in the “Favorite Female Singer” category.

Drake Receives 5 Nominations & Nicki Minaj Earns 3 Nominations At The 2016 Grammy Awards

Nominations for the 58th annual Grammy Awards were announced today and Young Money’s Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj have all been nominated. Weezy, Nicki, and Drizzy all picked up a nomination for “Truffle Butter” in the category “Best Rap Performance”, as well as “Only” in the category “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration”.

Drizzy Drake and the Barbie also both earned nominations in the “Best Rap Album” category for their If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and The Pinkprint albums. For his 4th and 5th nominations, Drake got one for “Back To Back” in the “Best Rap Performance” category and one for “Energy” in the “Best Rap Song” category.

The 2016 Grammy Awards will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on February 15th at 8PM EST. You can view who the YM artists will be going up against in their categories to win the awards after the jump below!
