A fan on Twitter yesterday asked Nicki Minaj: “What about the Jay Z collab?” to which she responded with: “It’s coming in 3 more days.”
The tweet has since been deleted, but could this be confirmation that Nicki and Jay have a new collaboration on the way? The last time they worked together on a song was back in 2010 on “Monster“.
Or could this tweet mean that a Minaj collabo with Jay Z‘s streaming service TIDAL (which the Barbiefully supports) is in the works? I guess we will have to wait until Sunday to see what this surprise is!
According to Nielsen Music, David Guetta‘s “Hey Mama” single featuring Nicki Minaj and Afrojack has been certified Gold after it sold 90,000 digital downloads during this past week in the United States of America.
The total sales for “Hey Mama” are now currently at 571,000 and I’m sure this collaboration will go Platinum in no time after the music video premieres.
Congratulations to David, Nicki, and Afrojack on this achievement!
After previously collaborating together on “Mine“, it looks like Drake and Beyonce have another collaboration that will appear on the upcoming Views From The 6 album.
A writer by the name of Ernest Baker got the chance to listen to Drizzy‘s project, which he says only two songs are done for the album, as well as compared it to what Kanye West did with 808s & Heartbreak.
