2 Chainz took to his Instagram page earlier this week to announce he will be releasing a new mixtape, Daniel Son; Necklace Don, via Apple Music on August 5th.

Tity Boi revealed the news by posting a screenshot of a text conversation with Drake (see below), which started with Drizzy asking “When we dropping that joint?”.

I am pretty sure that this means Chainz and the 6 God will have a collaboration together on the project. I guess we will have to wait a couple of days and see on Friday!

DMX visited Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” radio show in New York City at the end of June to chop it up with DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God for an interview.

During their conversation, X recalled having a conversation with Drake and Noah “40” Shebib over the phone about them wanting to sample his “What These Bitches Want” song on the “U With Me?” track off VIEWS.

Back in 2012, DMX mentioned in an interview that he was not a fan of Drizzy, but he has now changed the way he feels about the 6 God after this “humbling experience” of Drizzy Drake wanting to use one of his songs.

While on the red carpet at the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards a few days ago, MTV caught up with Murda Mook for an interview.

He hasn’t even released his debut album yet, but Drake is already getting it in with the Grammys. Drizzy was in Nashville, Tenn., on Thursday (Nov. 19) where he hosted a Conversation with Drake presented by the Nashville Chapter of The Recording Academy at Ocean Way Studio.
