Drake Releases Im Upset Music Video, Reveals Scorpion Album Artwork & Release Date

Drake has released the official music video for his latest single “I’m Upset“. The Karena Evans-directed visual includes a “Degrassi” reunion, which is a TV show that helped Drizzy first rise to fame back in 2007 by playing a character named Jimmy.

As well as the video, Drizzy Drake has also revealed the official artwork for his upcoming Scorpion album and announced it will drop at the end of this month on Friday, June 29th.

Drake Appears On Coach Calipari Cal Cast, Talks His Biggest Fear, YOLO, More Life, NBA Awards & More

A couple of days ago, Drake was the special guest on University Of Kentucky basketball coach’s John Calipari‘s podcast, Cal Cast, which you can listen to below.

During their 45-minute conversation, Drizzy spoke on acting, getting high for his audition to play Jimmy Brooks in “Degrassi”, why Coach Calipari is a role model to him, NBA, the longest amount of time he has been in the studio without sleeping, the biggest fear in his life, and more.

The 6 God also discussed how he would love to work with Sade, not going to have the chance to work with Bob Marley and Aaliyah even though he would love to, his upcoming More Life playlist, hosting the 1st annual NBA Awards, why athletes want to be rappers and vice versa, YOLO, and his parents!

Nardwuar recently caught up with Drake and Noah “40” Shebib in a studio in Toronto, Canada for a 1-hour long interview, which you can check out after the jump below.

Drizzy spoke on The Notorious B.I.G., the “Hotline Bling” sample, Vybz Kartel, almost getting arrested with Mavado in Jamaica, Mac Dre, working with Dr. Dre before Lil Wayne, “Back To Back“, Kardinal Offishall, appearing on “Degrassi”, Bow Wow, why he doesn’t kiss fans anymore, Kobe Bryant, the most he has ever spent at a strip club, Shaquille O’Neal, people thinking he was Wayne’s assistant back in the day, Bun B, Wayne’s birthday party in 2007, Steph Curry playing basketball at his house, the CN Tower in the 6, how he convinced Wayne to talk to Nardwuar, and plenty more.

Drake Tells The Story Of Him Trying Weed For The First Time, Plays A Game Of Beer Hockey

Last night, Drake made an appearance on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” to chop it up with Jimmy and to play a game of beer hockey with him, which is a combination of air hockey and beer pong.

Above, Drizzy talks about having a clean-shave and getting ready to host, as well as perform live on “Saturday Night Live” tomorrow evening. Below, he discusses his first ever audition for the TV show Degrassi and also smoking weed for the first time.

Drake talks about his Nothing Was The Same album, being a rapper, performing music at a young age, growing up in Toronto, moving between the USA and Canada, acting on the Degrassi television show, social media, being inspired by Marvin Gaye, what he hopes to achieve with his music, becoming the Global Ambassador of the Toronto Raptors, his legacy, and plenty more.

During the interview, Drizzy also mentions that it only took him around 2 hours to record his “Hold On, We’re Going Home” single!

Drake To Star As Funnyman In New Sitcom

Rap newcomer Drake will make his return to the small screen in a new upcoming series called “Us and Them“.

While details are still scarce, the show will reportedly be an “Odd Couple”-styled sitcom.

Also Wednesday, Toronto-based the Nightingale Company said Canadian actor and rap artist Aubrey “Drake” Graham (“Degrassi: The Next Generation”) is to develop a new comedy series for the indie producer. Graham, also known as the recording artist “Drake,” and fellow actor Mazin Eisadig (“The Line”) are to co-star in “Us and Them,” a sitcom about best buddies — and polar opposites ? trying to make their way in the entertainment industry.

Drake originally made a name for himself as a star on the kids-based show “Degrassi.”
