On December 31st, 2016, Drake brought in the New Year at Hakkasan Main Room inside the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
During his party, Drizzy put on a show for the people in attendance and announced that it will be the last time he performs his Meek Mill diss song “Back To Back“.
“If people do the most left field, fucked up shit to try and tear you down, you still gotta win no matter what. That’s the whole key about this shit. Kid Cudi took to Twitter earlier this week to diss Drake and Kanye West: “I need y’all to know I got so many haters within the industry and these clowns know I’m bout to crush their entire existence. Everyone thinks they’re soooo great. Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them. My tweets apply to who they apply. Ye, Drake, whoever. These niggas dont give a fuck about me. And they ain’t fuckin with me”.
Drizzy responded back to Kid Cudi‘s criticism during his “Summer Sixteen” tour at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California on September 14th by switching up the lyrics on O.T. Genasis’ “Cut It” song to say: “Boy you getting way too high, you need to Cudi”. If you didn’t already know, Cudi has had drug trouble in the past.
