After performing live at the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival, Drake sat down with Ryan Seacrest to discuss his Nothing Was The Same album.

Drizzy talks about his “Hold On, We’re Going Home” single, how his “Started From The Bottom” track came together, Michael Jackson being an inspiration to him, looking up to Lil Wayne, Jamie Foxx, Will Smith, Justin Timberlake, and John McClain as mentors, his relationship with his mother, confirms he has done some work on Beyonce’s forthcoming album, his biggest fear in life, family, what he would study if he went to college, his upcoming “Would You Like A Tour?”, and more.

Torion Super Fly x Signs To Young Money

Young Money Entertainment have signed a new 13 year old artist to the label, who goes by the name of Torion. Torion can sing, rap and dance, and Mack Maine has already described the youngster as a “cross between Justin Bieber and Chris Brown”. You can listen and download a new song below called “Super Fly” (over Drake’s “Fear” instrumental) to see what the kid is about, which will appear on his upcoming debut mixtape, The Initiation Volume 1.

Drake’s Thank Me Later Album Pushed Back x Performs “Fireworks” Live For The First Time

To start the song, he uses the same line he used to end on “Fear”, and MTV have reported that Drizzy‘s debut album will now be released on June 15th (previously May 25th).

Drake Talks Thank Me Later Lyricism

Young Money‘s Drake recently revealed more details surrounding his forthcoming Thank Me Later debut album and said he nearly saved his latest track, “Fear“, for the solo project.

Drizzy also discussed the importance of rappers being more versatile.

“Lyrically, I want to keep the album as genuine and honest as ‘Fear’ is, but musically there will be a little more energy,” he promised. “There will be more moments of triumph, because my life is the best it’s ever been in my 22 years of existence. I want my music to reflect that, but I still want to be able to relate and connect with people. It’s a good indication. There will obviously be some variation — not every track is going to sound like that. I was actually going to save ‘Fear’ for the album, but I wanted to give people another reason to buy the [So Far Gone] EP…You’ve really got to come out and offer people something that’s never been done before or something at a very high level. Take someone like Kanye West who produces, sings, writes and does fashion. He’s beyond the full package. I think that’s becoming requirement these days. You have to do everything.”
