ILoveMakonnen recently sat down with HuffPost Live for an interview that you can check out after the jump below to promote his Drink More Water 6 project.

At the 7:30 mark of their conversation, Makonnen spoke on if he was a fan of Drake before Drake remixed his “Tuesday” song, as well as confirmed that an OVO Sound compilation album exists and it may drop in October.

The OVO artist also mentioned that he could appear on Drizzy Drake‘s upcoming Views From The 6 album after he submitted a song for the project, which ended up having Drizzy tell him it’s one of the best songs he has heard in the past 5 years!

Even though he is already headlining the 2015 Wireless Festival in England this summer, Drake has also been announced as a headliner for the Wireless 10 festival, which is a one-off show taking place at Finsbury Park in London that they are holding to celebrate 10 years of being around.

Drizzy is set to perform at this year’s Wireless Festival on July 3rd, but the Wireless 10 festival will be taking place on Sunday, June 28th. Other music artists set to perform at this festival are Rita Ora, Kid Ink, Big Sean, Jhene Aiko, G-Eazy, ILOVEMAKONNEN, Chance The Rapper, and more.

While on the red carpet at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 8th, MTV caught up with OVO Sound’s ILOVEMAKONNEN for an interview.

During their conversation, MAKONNEN discussed what advice Drake gave him about attending the Grammys, as well as confirmed that he is working with Drizzy on his upcoming debut studio album that he hopes to drop in June or July.

Young Money’s Drake and Nicki Minaj have both been revealed as the headliners for the 2015 Wireless Festival, which will take place at Finsbury Park in London, England in the summer.

The music festival will take place over 3 days and include performances from Drake, ILOVEMAKONNEN, G-Eazy, and more on day 1 (July 3rd), performances from Kendrick Lamar and more on day 2 (July 4th), and performances from Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, August Alsina, and more on day 3 (July 5th).

With ILOVEMAKONNEN’s “Tuesday” single featuring Drake debuting at #90 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, it now means that the OVO boss has entered the chart a total of 72 times.

It also means that Drizzy Drake has surpassed The Beatles, who have 71 entries, which is an amazing achievement alone, so congratulations to him!

Drizzy currently sits at No. 8 on the list for most Hot 100 entries of all time and he is behind the cast of Glee, Lil Wayne, Elvis Presley, James Brown, Jay-Z, Ray Charles, and Aretha Franklin.
