Cory Gunz Speaks On Arrest, Could Face 3 Years Behind Bars

Yesterday, we reported that Cory Gunz had been arrested in the Bronx, New York City on Saturday for carrying an unregistered loaded Taurus .9mm handgun in his backpack. Cory was released from jail early this morning after his father Peter Gunz paid a $30,000 bail. Check out what Gunna told The Daily News below:

“This was a big mistake on my part,” Gunz told The Daily News early Monday morning after getting out of jail. “I didn’t have any intentions of harming anyone or committing a criminal activity. So many young people look up to me and I need to fight though this. It’s been really hard, really stressful. When the smoke finally clears people will understand what was going on.”

If convicted, Gunz could face a minimum sentence of three and 1/2 years behind bars, which I am sure none of us want to see happen.

Cory Gunz Arrested For Gun Possession In The Bronx

Yesterday afternoon (January 28th), Cory Gunz was arrested for gun possession in the Bronx, New York City. Check out what Cory‘s dad, Peter Gunz, told MTV this morning:

“The details are still sketchy, but I can confirm that he was arrested with a firearm yesterday in the Bronx,” Gunz told MTV News. “They caught him around 2p.m. in the afternoon with a loaded gun in his knapsack. It was definitely an illegal search.”

Gunz was unable to disclose full details on the incident just yet, but he explained the events leading up to his son’s arrest. “I spoke to the arresting officer, and so far, what I’m hearing from him is that they got a phone call at the station saying they should ‘look out,’ ” Gunz said. “According to the officer, they didn’t know he was Cory Gunz. They just saw a bunch of kids following him around.

Tyga Got Arrested And Spent A Night Behind Bars In Las Vegas

This past weekend, Tyga was locked up behind bars after the cops pulled him over on a routine traffic violation and found out that he had an warrant caused from four previous traffic incidents. T-Raw was locked up for one night at the Clark County Detention Center and then released the following day.
