Stream Drake New Album Scorpion

Here it is! Drake has released his brand new double-sided album called Scorpion digitally.

On the project, there are a total of 25 tracks (12 on A Side and 13 on B Side) with features from JAY Z, Michael Jackson, Ty Dolla $ign, Future, and Static Major.

There are also samples from Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj on Scorpion, as well as production from Noah “40” Shebib, Allen Ritter, Boi-1da, DJ Premier, Murda Beatz, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and No I.D.

The 6 God even addressed a few things on the album, such as his son with porn star Sophie Brussaux, the black face photo, leaving Cash Money Records after his deal ends, and plenty more.

Nicki Minaj To Headline The 2018 Made In America Music Festival

Nicki Minaj has been announced as a headliner for this year’s Made In America music festival, which will take place over Labor Day weekend (September 1st – 2nd) at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

As well as the Barbie, there will also be live performances at the JAY Z-organized festival by from Post Malone, Meek Mill, Miguel, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich The Kid, Diplo, Fat Joe, BlocBoy JB, Belly, 6LACK, Janelle MonĂ¡e, Alessia Cara, Zedd, Lil B, Gunna, Trouble, and plenty more.

The footage of the full 1-hour interview between Nicki Minaj and Zane Lowe for Beats 1 Radio on Apple Music has now been released, which you can watch below.

During their conversation, the Barbie discussed why she stepped away from social media, her forthcoming fourth studio album, changing her phone number, JAY Z, if she knew her “Monster” verse would be iconic, Drake always giving her advice, Cardi B, what went on with “Motor Sport“, Azealia Banks, Foxy Brown, Lil Wayne, and still being nervous to play her new music for Wayne because he is the “greatest rapper that ever lived”.

Before premiering her new singles “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li“, Nicki also added that she is currently shooting a new documentary which will drop with her new album, being quiet during the Drizzy vs. Meek Mill beef, the Tunechi vs. Birdman situation, getting ready to go back on tour, and plenty more. Drake Becomes First Ever Music Artist To Debut 2 Singles In The Top 10 Of Billboard Hot 100 Chart Simultaneously

After going No. 1 with “God’s Plan and breaking records with the first 24-hour streams, Drake has broke yet another record.

Drizzy‘s “Diplomatic Immunity” song, which also appears on his Scary Hours EP along with “God’s Plan“, debuted at No. 7 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart.

This means that the 6 God is now the first ever music artist to have 2 tracks debut in the top 10 of the “Hot 100” at the same time, so a big congratulations is in order to him on this amazing achievement!

In related news, Drizzy Drake has also surpassed JAY Z for having the most “Hot 100” top 10 appearances among rappers. JAY previously held the record with 21 entries and now Drake has a total of 22 entries after his 2 new entries.

Drake Makes The Top 5 Of Forbes 2017 Hip Hop Wealthiest Artists List

Forbes have revealed who the top 5 rappers are that have made their 2017 “Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists” list and Drake is one of them.

With a total of $90 million, Drizzy made the #5 spot on the list, which is calculated by “looking at past earnings, valuing current holdings, leafing through financial documents and talking to analysts, attorneys, managers, other industry players and even some of the moguls themselves to find the details”.

Above the 6 God was Birdman in fourth place with $110 million, Dr. Dre in third place with $740 million, Jay Z in second place with $810 million, and Diddy in first place with $820 million!

Dat KiD K.I. aka ZoeRaldo from The King Indeed recently chopped it up with Cory Gunz for a one on one interview that you can watch below.

During their conversation, the Gunna spoke on how satisfied he is in the music industry, what motivates him, which music artists he would like to work with, how it was growing up in The Bronx, upcoming projects, if he will be doing a collaboration project with his father Peter Gunz, how it feels to be signed to Young Money, and more.

Cory also mentioned that his boss Lil Wayne is one of his “favorite rappers ever” and one of the “dopest MCs” he has ever heard in his life, as well as that one of the first albums he ever bought was a Wayne CD!

The First Week Sales For More Life Are In, Drake Is Now Tied With Eminem & Kanye West For Second Most No 1 Albums

The first week sales for Drake‘s More Life playlist are in! According to Nielsen Music, the project has moved around 505,000 units since first being released on March 18th, so a big congratulations to the 6 God is in order.

Breaking down the 505,000 number, there were 257,000 sales from streaming equivalent albums, 226,000 from traditional album sales, and 23,000 from TEA units.

As More Life also went No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, this is now Drizzy‘s seventh No. 1 album of his career, which makes him tied with Eminem and Kanye West for the second most No. 1 projects in hip-hop. Jay Z is in the lead with a total of 13.
