Drake and Nicki Minaj have both been nominated for TIME magazine’s TIME Person Of The Year 2015. They are also the only two hip-hop artists out of all the 58 people that earned a nomination for this year’s TIME Person Of The Year.
The Barbie was nominated for her live performances at awards shows and on her worldwide tour, as well as her comments on race and sexuality this year. Drizzy picked up a nomination for his If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late project, winning his beef with Meek Mill, and the viral success of “Hotline Bling“.
Click here to vote for either Drizzy Drake or Nicki to be TIME Person Of The Year 2015! Voting will end at 11:59PM on December 4th and the winner of the poll will be announced on December 7th, as well as the magazine’s official TIME Person Of The Year 2015 being revealed on December 9th.
The Hot 93.7 Morning Crew caught up with Drake at Jingle Jam 2011 to talk to him about music, growth, going back to acting, rumors of him leaving YMCMB, wanting to work with Justin Timberlake and Chris Brown, improving his live performances, The Weeknd, what he will be doing for the holidays (going to Africa to perform with Lil Wayne this week, shooting the “Make Me Proud” video), and more!
Here is some behind the scenes footage from Lil Chuckee‘s birthday bash at Club Miami in Atlanta from two months ago. A few of the Young Money artists appear in the video, and DJ Khaled, Ace Hood, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Scrappy, Wale and Roscoe Dash all perform at the party.
It was also Bigman‘s birthday yesterday (December 17), so we would just like to say a Happy Birthday to him and we hope you had a good day!
Drizzy Drake was on Jimmy Kimmel two nights ago and he did an interview, performed, and even did a Twitter song sketch. In the above video, you can see Drake‘s and Jimmy‘s skit called “Tweet Tweet” which is pretty funny, and after the jump you can watch Drizzy‘s interview and his performances.
Here are some pictures of Nicki Minaj on the set for DJ Khaled‘s “All I Do Is Win Remix” video shoot. You can see more photos of the other artists featured on this record at DG‘s website, and you can view more pics of Nicki after the jump. As a bonus, you can also watch DJ Khaled, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes and Diddy perform the “All I Do Is Win Remix” live at the Best Of The Best Memorial Day concert in Miami below:
Drake returned to the America’s Most Wanted Music Festival last night, just five days after injuring his knee.
“Look, I wanna say one thing,” Drizzy told the crowd. “Before every show I’ve ever seen this man do, the greatest entertainer I’ll ever witness. Make some noise for Lil Wayne. Now listen up, before every show he does, he tells the crowd to make some noise for what they’ve created. My man, I just wanna shake your hand for what you do…”
Unfortunately, Drizzy won’t be returning back to the tour because of his injury, and he only performed in Toronto last night because he couldn’t let his city down now, could he? Hit the jump for to see Lil Wayne, Drake and Trey Songz perform “Successful“, “Best I Ever Had” and “Every Girl“.
Above, you can see Young Money perform their hit single “Every Girl” at the America’s Most Wanted tour in Jones Beach, NY last night. ObviouslyDrake wasn’t their to perform his verse and for some reason, Mack didn’t perform his. Click more below to see the bootylicious Nicki Minaj perform some of her hits:
