Young Money’s Drake and Nicki Minaj have both been nominated in the “Best International Act” category at the 2014 MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) Awards, which will be taking place in London on October 22nd.
There is currently 10 artists in the “Best International Act” category, but on Wednesday (October 8th) it will be reduced to just 5, so make sure you vote for either Drizzy or Nickihere.
Unfortunately, Drake will not be able to attend and perform at the 2014 Wireless Festival in London and Birmingham this weekend, which he was due to headline. You can read Drizzy‘s message to his fans below:
“To my beloved fans, it truly breaks my heart that I won’t be able to perform as planned at Wireless and Roskilde this weekend. I got sick a few days ago and although I am on my way to bouncing back, my doctors have made it clear that I am not physically fit to fly or deliver the performance my fans expect and deserve from me. I will be focused on resting for a quick recovery. I have the best fans in the world and I can’t wait to come back to make more incredible memories together.”

Earlier this morning, Nicki Minaj spoke to Kojo and Jade on UK’s Capital XTRA “In The Morning” radio show for an interview.
During their conversation, Nicki discussed what Drake looks for in a woman, hitting up the studio with him this week, her new look, The Game appearing in her “Pills N Potions” music video after she turned down two other rappers, his beard, and having one feature on her upcoming The Pink Print album that will “blow people away”.
Drake is currently in England for the European leg of his “Would You Like A Tour?”. While at the Cirque le Soir nightclub in London on March 10th, Drizzy played DJ and previewed three brand new songs of his for everyone who was in attendance.
These three tracks have not yet been released, but you can get a good listen of what two of them sound like in the clip above. The other track only gets played for a few seconds at the end before the video cuts off.
