Lil Twist Announces Young Carter 2 Mixtape, Discusses Tattooing Loyal In Hebrew On His Face & More

We saw Lil Twist talking about how Young Money are still fighting in court to be free, his relationship with Lil Wayne and having Tha Carter V on his phone a couple of days ago, and now more excerpts from his interview with HipHopDX have been released.

In the new excerpts, Twizzy speaks on what it is like being a free man, having “Loyal” in Hebrew tattooed on his face to show he his loyalty to Wayne, and announces he is currently working on a Young Carter 2 mixtape.

Lil Twist Gets Loyal In Hebrew Tattooed On His Face

Lil Twist recently invited tattoo artists Herchell L Carrasco and Ashton King to his crib in Los Angeles for a private ink session.

The Young Money Youngin’ got a few new tatts including a colored rose on his arm, the word “Loyal” in Hebrew on his face, a small cross and heart under his eye, and more.

We first heard this interview back in August of this year, but we can now watch a visual of Cory Gunz and Cormega‘s conversation with N.O.R.E. aka Noreaga and DJ EFN on their “Drink Champs” podcast.

In part 1 of the 2-hour-and-45-minute interview, the Gunna spoke on signing to Shaquille O’Neal, being in the rap game for a long time, Lil Wayne and Birdman‘s beef, reality television, his father Peter Gunz, which music artists he listened to growing up, staying loyal to Wayne instead of going independent, Krimindal Minded, and more.

Cory Gunz Chats To NORE & DJ EFN About Lil Wayne vs Birdman, Kriminal Minded, Staying Loyal To Wayne & More

New York rappers Cory Gunz and Cormega recently sat down with N.O.R.E. aka Noreaga and DJ EFN for a 2 hour and 45 minute interview on episode 24 of their “Drink Champs” podcast.

During the conversation, Cory spoke on his first deal being with Shaquille O’Neal, the Lil Wayne vs. Birdman situation, if he feels like he is an OG in the rap game, and his father Peter Gunz.

Cory also discussed who he listened to growing up, can never seeing himself leave Wayne to go independent, if he would ever appear in the “Love & Hip Hop” reality TV show, and plenty more.

The Young Money Gunna even revealed that his Krimindal Minded project will be released for free in October. You can listen to the full interview after the jump below!

Nicki Minaj, Drake & Lil Wayne All Nominated At The 2015 Billboard Music Awards

The 2015 Billboard Music Awards nominations were revealed today! Out of Young Money, Nicki Minaj received 4 nominations, Drake received 3 nominations, and Lil Wayne received 1 nomination for Chris Brown’s “Loyal” song in the “Top R&B Song” category.

Nicki was nominated in the “Top Streaming Artist” category, the “Top Rap Song” category for “Anaconda“, and she will be going against Drizzy in the “Top Rap Artist” and “Top Rap Album” categories for their albums If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and The Pinkprint. Drizzy Drake has also been nominated for “Top Male Artist”.

This year’s Billboard Music Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, May 17th from 8PM EST on ABC. You can check out how the nominations for the categories are picked and the full list of nominations below!

Drake & Nicki Minaj Both Receive Nominations At The 2014 Soul Train Awards

Young Money’s Drake and Nicki Minaj have both been nominated at the 2014 Soul Train Awards, which will be taking place at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 7th.

Nicki picked up one nomination in the “Best Hip-Hop Song Of The Year” category for her “Pills N Potions” song. Drizzy picked up three nominations in the “Song Of The Year”, “Album Of The Year”, and “Best Hip-Hop Song Of The Year” categories.

You can view the list of nominations in the categories below. This year’s Soul Train Awards will be hosted by Wendy Williams and air on Centric, as well as BET at 8PM EST on November 30th.
