Tyga Takes Part In BET Celebrity Basketball Game

BET hosted a Celebrity Basketball Game in Los Angeles, California yesterday (June 29th) between Team Lime vs. Team Lemon. On Team Lemon was Tyga, Soulja Boy and others, and on Team Lime was Chris Brown, Keke Palmer, Shane Mosley, Mike Epps and others.

If you missed the match, you can watch the full game (that lasts over 1 hour and 30 minutes) in a video after the jump below. Chris Breezy’s Team Lime won 49-43.

After the Celebrity Basketball Game finished, BET‘s 106 & Park comes straight on after it. During this show, T-Raww performed his singles “Dope” and “Fuck For The Road” live.

Drake, Nicki Minaj & Tyga Nominated At The 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards

BET announced the nominations for their 2012 Hip-Hop Awards last night during 106 & Park. Lil Wayne picked up 5 nominations, Nicki Minaj picked up 1 nomination in the “Made You Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style)” category, Tyga picked up 3 nominations all for his feature on “The Motto“, and Drake picked up 11 nominations in the categories: “Best Hip-Hop Video“, “Reese’s Perfect Combo Award“, “Best Live Performer“, “Track Of The Year“, “CD Of The Year“, “Best Club Banger“, “Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse” and “People’s Champ Award“.

The awards show, which will be hosted by Mike Epps, will be taped at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Georgia on September 29th and air on TV October 9th at 8PM EST. Hit the jump to view the full list of nominations.

Nicki is nominated for “Verizon People’s Champ Award“, “Reese’s Perfect Combo Award” for ‘Hello, Good Morning (Remix)’ and ‘All I Do Is Win (Remix)’, “Rookie Of The Year“, “Hustler Of The Year“, “Made-You-Look Award“, and “Lyricist Of The Year“.

Drizzy is nominated for “Best Live Performer“, “Verizon People’s Champ Award“, “Reese’s Perfect Combo Award” for ‘Forever’, “Best Hip Hop Video” for ‘Find Your Love’, “CD Of The Year” for ‘Thank Me Later, “Hustler Of The Year“, “Lyricist Of The Year“, and “MVP Of The Year“.

Drake Gets 5 Nominations For BET Hip Hop Awards 2009

The BET Hip-Hop Awards 2009 nominations were announced yesterday (September 16) on 106 & Park, along with the highly respected renowned rapper, actor, screenwriter, film producer and director Ice Cube who will receive this year’s “I Am Hip-Hop” Icon Award. Kanye West leads the pack with nine nominations as Hip-Hop’s crowning night returns to Atlanta on Saturday, October 10.

Hosted by actor and comedian Mike Epps, the hip-hop event of the year returns to Atlanta’s Boisfeuillet Jones Civic Center on Saturday, October 10 to celebrate the biggest names in the game – both on the mic and in the community.
