
On June 26th, the very first National Basketball Association Awards took place at Basketball City on Pier 36 in New York and Drake was the host of the show.
Drizzy showed off his comedy side by sharing jokes all night and appearing in sketches with Will Ferrell, DeMar DeRozen, and even took part in one where he played Steph Curry.
There was also a moment when Kenny Smith asked the question did Drizzy Drake write his jokes himself, as well as a part when Shaquille O’Neal showed off his disc jockey skills as DJ Diesel.

The first-ever NBA Awards took place last night from Pier 36’s Basketball City in New York.
While Drake hosted the awards show, his Young Money label-mate Nicki Minaj performed live at the event.

A couple of days ago, Drake was the special guest on University Of Kentucky basketball coach’s John Calipari‘s podcast, Cal Cast, which you can listen to below.
During their 45-minute conversation, Drizzy spoke on acting, getting high for his audition to play Jimmy Brooks in “Degrassi”, why Coach Calipari is a role model to him, NBA, the longest amount of time he has been in the studio without sleeping, the biggest fear in his life, and more.
