Drake Nice For What Single Debuts At No 1 On The Hot 100 Chart

After spending a total of 11 weeks in the top spot on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart with “God’s Plan“, Drake has now replaced himself with his new single “Nice For What“.

The Murda Beatz-produced song has debuted at No. 1 on 3 of Billboard’s charts – “Hot 100”, “Hot Rap Songs”, and “Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs”.

This makes Drizzy the first music artist to ever dethrone himself at No. 1 with both solo tracks debuting in the top spot. The 6 God also has a total of 3 singles in the top 5 of the “Hot 100” chart as “God’s Plan” is No. 1 and “Look Alive” is No. 5!

Drake Gods Plan Stays No 1 For The Tenth Week, Becomes First Male Solo Artist To Have Two 10 Week No 1s On The Hot 100 Chart

According to Billboard, Drake has become the very first male solo artist to have 2 songs reach 10-weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard “Hot 100” chart.

This week, Drizzy‘s “God’s Plan” single has stayed at No. 1 for the tenth week in a row and back in 2016, his “One Dance” single featuring WizKid and Kyla was also at No. 1 for 10 weeks.

God’s Plan” is now just the 36th song to have been at No. 1 for at least 10 weeks in the Hot 100 history and the fifth track to have spent its first 10 weeks at No. 1, so a big congratulations to the 6 God is in order!

Drake Becomes First Ever Music Artist To Debut 2 Singles In The Top 10 Of Billboard Hot 100 Chart Simultaneously

After going No. 1 with “God’s Plan and breaking records with the first 24-hour streams, Drake has broke yet another record.

Drizzy‘s “Diplomatic Immunity” song, which also appears on his Scary Hours EP along with “God’s Plan“, debuted at No. 7 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart.

This means that the 6 God is now the first ever music artist to have 2 tracks debut in the top 10 of the “Hot 100” at the same time, so a big congratulations is in order to him on this amazing achievement!

In related news, Drizzy Drake has also surpassed JAY Z for having the most “Hot 100” top 10 appearances among rappers. JAY previously held the record with 21 entries and now Drake has a total of 22 entries after his 2 new entries.

Drake Gods Plan Single Debuts At Number 1 On Billboard Hot 100 Chart, Breaks Single Day Stream Records On Apple Music & Spotify

Drake‘s “God’s Plan” song, which can be found on his Scary Hours EP, has debuted No. 1 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart.

This track that was produced by Boi-1da, Yung Exclusive and Cardo is Drizzy‘s second ever No. 1 on “Hot 100” as a lead artist (“One Dancewas his first). It is also his fourth overall following Rihanna’s “Work” and “What’s My Name?” singles that both feature him.

Drizzy Drake‘s “God’s Plan” record was also streamed a huge amount of 14 million times in 24 hours on Apple Music, which of course broke the record for most plays in a single-day worldwide. It even broke the same record on Spotify. Congratulations to the 6 God on this amazing accomplishment!

Drake Is The Most Streamed Artist & Has The Most Streamed Album During The First Half Of 2017

The stats for the first 6 months of 2017 are in, and Drake is one of the most-streamed music artists of the year so far.

After being named the most-streamed artist of 2016 and having the most-streamed song of last summer with “One Dance“, Drizzy is already the most-streamed artist of 2017 so far with 3.7 billion plays and also has the most-streamed album with More Life at 1.8 billion plays.

By total consumption, the 6 God is also No. 1 with 2,989,039 units, which is from 457,041 album sales, 2,366,751 song sales, and 3,442,984,476 audio streams. Congratulations to Drizzy Drake on these accolades for the first half of the year. I wonder what numbers he will have at the end of 2017!

The First Week Sales For More Life Are In, Drake Is Now Tied With Eminem & Kanye West For Second Most No 1 Albums

The first week sales for Drake‘s More Life playlist are in! According to Nielsen Music, the project has moved around 505,000 units since first being released on March 18th, so a big congratulations to the 6 God is in order.

Breaking down the 505,000 number, there were 257,000 sales from streaming equivalent albums, 226,000 from traditional album sales, and 23,000 from TEA units.

As More Life also went No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, this is now Drizzy‘s seventh No. 1 album of his career, which makes him tied with Eminem and Kanye West for the second most No. 1 projects in hip-hop. Jay Z is in the lead with a total of 13.

Drake Views Is No 1 On Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart For 12 Non Consecutive Weeks

Drake‘s VIEWS album has stayed put at No. 1 on Billboard‘s “Top 200 Albums” chart after earning another 85,000 sales this past week (including streams).

This is now the twelfth non-consecutive week VIEWS has been in the top spot, which means the 6 God is 1 week away from surpassing the Frozen soundtrack that was No. 1 for thirteen-weeks back in 2014.

The very last male music artist to spend more than twelve weeks at No. 1 was Billy Ray Cyrus with his Some Gave All album back in 1992. He spent a total of seventeen-weeks in the top spot, so hopefully Drizzy can get to that same achievement!
