Drake Talks Lil Wayne, More Life, Kanye West, UK Rap, Ghostwriting For Dr Dre, Grammys, XXXTENTACION & More

While out in London on his “The Boy Meets World” tour, Drake chopped it up with DJ Semtex for a one-on-one interview. You can listen to the audio of their conversation below, but check back on Monday to watch a video of the full interview.

During their lengthy conversation, Drizzy spoke on realizing his turning point in the music industry was when Lil Wayne rapped his “Money To Blow” verse live at the MTV Video Music Awards, working with Wayne, his So Far Gone mixtape, ghostwriting for Dr. Dre, and his Views album.

The 6 God also discussed his “One Dance single, why he released “Pop Style” at the same time, how he discovered Kyla‘s original song, racism, why he doesn’t want his 2 new Grammy awards, Quentin Miller, his beef with Meek Mill, people thinking he stole the flow of XXXTENTACION, why More Life is a playlist and not an album, Skepta, UK rap, Giggs, his OVO Sound Radio show, and Santan Dave.

Throughout the interview, Drizzy Drake even revealed that he has distanced himself from Kanye West after he brought up his and DJ Khaled‘s name in a rant and so they are no longer working on a joint project, can not see him and Meek ever being friends, and thinks the best rappers are in London!
