Cory Gunz Speaks On Arrest, Could Face 3 Years Behind Bars

Yesterday, we reported that Cory Gunz had been arrested in the Bronx, New York City on Saturday for carrying an unregistered loaded Taurus .9mm handgun in his backpack. Cory was released from jail early this morning after his father Peter Gunz paid a $30,000 bail. Check out what Gunna told The Daily News below:

“This was a big mistake on my part,” Gunz told The Daily News early Monday morning after getting out of jail. “I didn’t have any intentions of harming anyone or committing a criminal activity. So many young people look up to me and I need to fight though this. It’s been really hard, really stressful. When the smoke finally clears people will understand what was going on.”

If convicted, Gunz could face a minimum sentence of three and 1/2 years behind bars, which I am sure none of us want to see happen.

Tyga Got Arrested And Spent A Night Behind Bars In Las Vegas

This past weekend, Tyga was locked up behind bars after the cops pulled him over on a routine traffic violation and found out that he had an warrant caused from four previous traffic incidents. T-Raw was locked up for one night at the Clark County Detention Center and then released the following day.

GlobalGrind: How did you meet Lil Wayne and how did you get down with Young Money?

Short Dawg: I met Wayne around 3 years ago through Mack Maine – Mack and I were cool, we did a couple of songs together, so he introduced me to Wayne and we just hit it off. It was a basic friendship, and after we started kicking it, we did a couple of songs, and while he was building his Young Money brand he asked me to come be a part of it, and the rest is history.
