“I never really know where those rumors stem from,” Drake told MTV News. “I’m really happy at Young Money; I really don’t want to go anywhere. Me and Wayne have a great relationship.”
“At the end of the day, that’s my boss. I’m his soldier. I’m cool with that. I’m good with that,” he said. “That’s the role I want to play. He put me here.”
“I spent a lot of time out there in Toronto; that’s what this album is about. That’s what I’m gonna showcase,” Drake explained. “It’s the same thing with the tour: I wanna bring Kendrick, I wanna bring A$AP. Those are guys that I love.
“It has nothing to do with people on my label,” he continued. “Tyga’s out, Nicki’s working on an album, and everybody else is doing their thing on the road with Wayne or with Wayne in the studio, so I just sort of showcased the music that I happen to love right now, and those are the two guys that I’m bringing out.”
Drake recently attended the 2011 Canada Walk Of Fame on October 1st at The Elgin Theater in Toronto. At this event, Drizzy accepted the Allan Slaight award (presented to a young Canadian for making a positive impact in the world) and donated $10,000 to Dixon Hall. Hit the jump for a few more photos!

The Asphalt Regime caught up with Tyga when he was Toronto, Canada recently for the F.A.M.E. tour. T-Raw speaks on what hip hop is to him, what we can expect from his Careless World album dropping on November 19th, who will be featured on the album, and what he is currently bumping in his whip.
Tyga recently visited Oakwood Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Canada on September 19th to speak to the students about how vital education is. While on the F.A.M.E. tour with Chris Brown, T-Pain and Kelly Rowland, Tygaman is also promoting his R.O.A.R. (Reach Out And Represent) Youth Empowerment Campaign, which reaches out to the youth to address issues such as: violence, drug involvement, poor decision-making, poor self-esteem and damaging impacts of media. At the high school, T-Raw presented certificates and tickets to attend his F.A.M.E. show to the students who had a great attendance record and good behavior.
“I graduated high school, a lot of y’all will be graduating soon so it’s important to stay in school and follow your dreams,” Tyga said into the microphone. “I look up to people that are close to me with success from Wayne, Nicki to Drake. Growing up, I was a self-motivator. I didn’t like really have anybody to look up to like that. You have to be yourself. If being you falls into being different from everybody else, so be it.”
