
Drake has made his very first appearance on “The Forbes Five” list, which shows who are currently the wealthiest artists in hip-hop, by coming in at #5.
To compile the Forbes Five list, we follow the same procedures used to calculate our list of the world’s billionaires: looking at past earnings, valuing current holdings, leafing through real estate records and talking to analysts, attorneys, managers, venture capitalists and some of the moguls themselves to find the details.
According to Forbes, Drizzy has a net worth of $60 million, due to his music, touring, and deals with Apple, Nike, and Sprite.
The other 4 rappers that came above Drizzy Drake on Forbes’ annual list were: Diddy, Dr. Dre, Jay Z, and Birdman!

Forbes released their 2015 Hip-Hop Cash Kings list yesterday, which calculates earnings from June 2014 to June 2015, and Young Money’s Drake and Nicki Minaj both ranked in the top 10.
Drizzy came in at #3 earning around $39.5 million from touring and making nearly $1 million every night, his If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late project, as well as his Sprite and Nike endorsements.
The Barbie, who was the only female on the list, came in at #9 earning around $21 million from touring, as well as her Pepsi and Myx Fusions endorsements.
