After her surprise live performance at Red Bull Sound Select’s “30 Days In LA” finale, which took place at The Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, California on November 30th, Nicki Minaj chopped it up with Red Bull for an interview.

During their conversation, Nicki spoke on if she has ever played a secret show before, how it compares to performing live at arenas, what makes a good performer, who her favorite music artist is right now, what advice she has for new artists, women running their own careers, how new artists should continue to develop their talent, what we can expect from her in 2016, and more.

Earlier this month, Billboard announced that Nicki Minaj was tied with Madonna and Dionne Warwick on the Hot 100 chart with 56 hits after her “Bed Of Lies” single debuted at #70.

This week, two Nicki songs debuted in the top 100 on the chart meaning that she has now surpassed Madonna and Dionne bringing her total to 58 hits. “Feeling Myself” featuring Beyonce debuted at #43 and “Get On Your Knees” featuring Ariana Grande debuted at #88.

The Young Money Barbie is now in third place for the most entries on the Hot 100 chart among women. She is behind Aretha Franklin, who leads with 73 hits, and Taylor Swift, who is in second place with 66 hits!

To celebrate the release of The Pinkprint, Hot 97’s Ebro sat down with Nicki Minaj for an interview and to play songs from the project for her fans in attendance, as well as to discuss “I Lied“, “The Crying Game“, “Buy A Heart“, “Four Door Aventador“, and “Feeling Myself“.

During the conversation, Nicki spoke on Meek Mill, her breakup with Safaree Samuels, getting props from males in hip-hop, her favorite home cooked meal, why a collaboration with Beyonce and Rihanna would be good for black women, and more.

The Young Money Barbie also confirmed that “Feeling Myself” will be the next single off The Pinkprint, she has no upcoming movie roles, and played a game of “Fuck, Marry, Kill” with Lil Wayne, Drake, and Chris Brown.
