Even though he was not in attendance, Drake won 2 awards out of his 3 nominations at this year’s MMVAs.

Yesterday, Drake broke a new record by taking home 13 awards at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. Adele held the record previously with winning 12 awards back in 2012.
Out of his 22 nominations, Drizzy won awards in the categories: “Top Billboard 200 Artist”, “Top Hot 100 Artist”, “Top Song Sales Artist”, “Top Streaming Songs Artist”, “Top Rap Artist”, “Top Rap Album”, “Top Rap Tour”, “Top Streaming Song (Audio)”, “Top R&B Song”, “Top R&B Collaboration”, “Top Male Artist”, “Top Billboard 200 Album”, and “Top Artist”.

The 2nd annual Music Society Awards took place just over a month ago on March 18th and both Drake and Nicki Minaj won awards at the show.
Nicki won one award in the “Best Pop Collaboration By Duo Or Group” category with Ariana Grande for their “Side To Side” collaboration.
Drizzy won 3 awards in the categories in the categories “Hip-Hop Recording Of The Year” for “One Dance” featuring Kyla and Wizkid, “Artist Of The Year”, and “Collaboration, Duo Or Group Of The Year” for “One Dance“.

Last night, the 2017 Brit Awards aired on television from the O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom.
Out of his 2 nominations at the BRITs, the 6 God won an award for “International Male Solo Artist” beating out Bon Iver, Leonard Cohen, Bruno Mars, and The Weeknd.

Yesterday, the 59th Annual Grammy Awards aired live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Out of 8 nominations, Drake won 2 awards at the show in the “Best Rap/Sung Performance” and “Best Rap Song” categories, which were both for his “Hotline Bling” single off Views.
Drizzy was in Manchester, UK on his “The Boy Meets World” tour last night, so unfortunately he couldn’t be in attendance at the Grammys to accept his awards. Congratulations to the 6 God on his wins!

Out of 13 nominations, Drizzy took home awards in the categories: “Favorite Album – Rap/Hip-Hop” for Views, “Favorite Artist – Rap/Hip-Hop”, “Favorite Song – Rap/Hip-Hop” for “Hotline Bling“, and “Favorite Song – Soul/R&B” for Rihanna’s “Work“.
