Baby E. has took to his Instagram page to show a little behind the scenes clip from on set of his and Lil Wayne‘s “Finessin’” video shoot, which took place in Miami on Monday (January 11th).
In the behind the scenes footage (see below), we can see the Young Money CEO fake popping some pills and then dabbing haha!
The official “Finessin’” visual is being directed by Eif Rivera and is due to premiere in the next coming weeks.
Juvenile has officially signed back to Cash Money Records! In the video below, you can watch Juvie and Birdman discuss the new deal that will see him retire at CMR and why they decided to work together on the same label again.
In related news, we can also be looking forward to a Juvenile single featuring Drake to premiere in the upcoming weeks. There is no word on what project the song will appear on, but it could appear on the upcoming Rich Gang 2 album, dropping on November 24th.
The nominations for the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards have been announced! Young Money’s Drake was nominated a total of eight times, Nicki Minaj was nominated a total of five times, and Lil Wayne was nominated once.
Drizzy scored his nominations in the categories “Best Live Performer”, “Lyricist Of The Year”, “MVP Of The Year”, “Hustler Of The Year”, “Best Hip-Hop Video” for “Worst Behavior“, “Album Of The Year” for Nothing Was The Same, “Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse” for “Who Do You Love?“, and “People’s Champ Award” for “Worst Behavior“.
Nicki picked up her nominations in the categories “Lyricist Of The Year”, “MVP Of The Year”, “Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style), “Best Hip-Hop Video” for “Pills N Potions“, and “People’s Champ Award” for “My Nigga (Remix)“, which Weezy was also nominated for too.
This year’s award show will be hosted by Snoop Dogg and taped on September 20th at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Georgia before premiering on October 14th at 8PM EST. Congratulations to Drizzy Drake, Minaj, and Tunechi on their nominations!

Kevin Gates stopped by Hot 97 recently to chat with Peter Rosenberg on his “Real Late With Peter Rosenberg” show, which you can watch below.
During this interview at the 9:00 mark, Kevin speaks on his relationship with Young Money and confirms that he is not signed with the label, but does say they manage him.
Also at the 16:30 mark, Gates discusses Lil Wayne calling Birdman his pops even though he is not his biological father, but more of a “street father”.
