U.S. President Barack Obama recently spoke with Michael Yo on his “The Yo! Show” to discuss the feud between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, which first started earlier this month during the American Idol auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina.

President Obama believes that Nicki and Mariah will sort it out and repair their relationship. He also mentioned during the interview that he doesn’t know the Young Money Barbie personally, but he does have her music on his iPod.

“I think they are going to be able to sort it out, I am confident. I’m all about bringing people together, working for the same cause. I think both outstanding artists are going to be able to make sure that they’re moving forward and not going backwards.”

“Mariah, she’s done some events for us, I’ve gotten to know her and Nick Cannon and she’s a wonderful lady. Nicki, I don’t know, but I’ve got her on my iPod.”

Glad our president has time to do interviews with sources like “the yo! Show” and talk about celebrity feuds. There are no national or international issues he should be setting his mind to
