Drake One Dance Single Is Spotify Most Streamed Song Of This Summer

According to Spotify‘s data, Drake‘s “One Dance” single off his VIEWS album featuring Kyla and Wizkid is the “song of the summer”.

The streaming service has revealed its top 10 songs of this summer in both the United States of America and globally, which both included Drizzy‘s “One Dance” in the top spot.

As well as “One Dance“, the 6 God‘s “Controlla” and “Too Good” featuring Rihanna also appear in the Spotify lists. You can check out the 2 lists of most-streamed tracks this summer below!

Last night, Nicki Minaj performed live at Jay Z’s “TIDAL X: 1020” show, which took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City to celebrate TIDAL reaching 1 million subscribers.

During her set, the Young Money Barbie performed “Truffle Butter“, “Moment 4 Life“, and “Feeling Myself” live with Beyonce.

Drake Gives A Speech About Apple Music At The Worldwide Developers Conference

Earlier today, Apple held their Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, California. During the conference, Apple revealed their new streaming service “Apple Music“, which will launch later this month on June 30th for $9.99 per month or $14.99 per month for a family plan.

After getting confirmation last week, Drake took to the stage at this conference to speak about why he partnered with Apple and how he will be using the Connect feature on “Apple Music” to engage with his fans.

Drake Set To Be A Part Of Apple Streaming Service

According to Billboard, Drizzy Drake and Pharrell have been confirmed to be a part of Apple‘s upcoming streaming service that will be in competition with Jay Z’s TIDAL, which of course Nicki Minaj supports.

It’s currently not clear how Drake will be involved with the streaming service, but it’s rumored that he will be a guest DJ on iTunes Radio. However, we will find out for sure next week on June 8th when Apple reveal this news at their Worldwide Developers Conference.

There was also a rumor that Drizzy was paid a total of $19 million for this deal, but it seems like that amount of money has been exaggerated a little bit. However, Apple did offer Drake more money than what Jay Z did because he dropped out of being a partner of TIDAL a few days before it launched!

At 5PM EST later today, Jay Z’s new streaming service that is titled TIDAL will be launching. An advertisement for the streaming service has also been released today, which you can watch below.

Some of the artists that make an appearance in this commercial are: Nicki Minaj, Madonna, Jay Z, Kanye West, Beyonce, Chris Martin from Coldplay, Rihanna, Usher, Alicia Keys, Daft Punk, and others!
